Andrew Lindner Painting is a family-owned painting and decorating company led by Andrew Lindner and his son Murphy.
Andrew began operating as a one-man painting business in Wagga Wagga in 1983, where he was born and raised. After 13 years operating in Wagga Wagga, Andrew relocated to the Newcastle region and has now spent more than 30 years painting homes and properties throughout Newcastle and the Hunter.
That experience has given Andrew an extensive understanding of both traditional and modern painting methods. In particular, he has developed a strong appreciation for the preparation and restoration techniques required for heritage, Federation and older-style homes.

Today, Andrew works alongside his son Murphy, a trade-qualified painter who is becoming increasingly involved in the day-to-day operation and future direction of the business.
The combination works well. Andrew brings decades of experience and traditional trade knowledge, while Murphy continues to introduce the latest techniques, equipment and product knowledge available within the industry.

The quality of a painting project depends on more than the final coat. Correct preparation, the right coating system and professional application all play an important role in the finished result. For our primary painting work, we use Wattyl paint systems. For selected specialised coatings and industrial applications, we also use trusted products from brands including Zinsser and Hempel.
Our team selects products based on the surface, environment and requirements of each individual project.
